The medium Manfrotto Camera Cage build up your DSLR or mirrorless camera for professional video and cinema production. The cage itself surrounds your camera on three sides, adding a measure of protection to DSLR cameras such as Canon's 5D, 6D, and 7D series, as well as Nikon's D300, D500, and D800 series. 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes line the top and sides of the cage for securing accessories such as articulating arms. The top of the cage leaves the space above the camera's accessory shoe unobstructed for mounting audio accessories, such as XLR adapters. An HDMI cable clamp is integrated with the cage's vertical post to protect the camera's HDMI port from cable snags, as well as all necessary mounting screws and an articulating wooden top handle.
